Species of the genus Barsilene Volynkin & Huang, 2019 are reported from India and Myanmar for the first time: B. pallinflexa (Holloway, 2001) — from India (Meghalaya State) and Myanmar (Rakhine State), B. melaninflexa (Černý, 2016) — from Myanmar (Sagaing Region). The westernmost populations of both species were known from Thailand, and the latter species was found only in two Thai provinces: Kanchanaburi and Tak. Hence, the new records represent the westernmost findings of this genus, moving the northwestern boundary of the genus’ range more than 1000 km.
