Two new species of the genus Thalassironus de Man, 1889 (Nematoda, Enoplida, Ironidae) from the coral reefs in Vietnam

The paper provides illustrated descriptions of two nematode species of the genus Thalassironus de Man, 1889 found in the coral reefs in Vietnam. Th. coralis sp. nov. is morphologically similar to Th. bipartitus (Wieser, 1955) and Th. bohaensis Zhang, 1990, but it differs from both these species by the thinner body, longer outer labial setae and shorter spicules. Th. longicaudatus sp. nov. morphologically similar to Th. bipartitus (Wieser, 1955), but has a thinner body, longer outer labial setae, shorter stoma and no precloacal setae in males.
