Illustrated descriptions of new species of free-living nematodes Theristus gigas sp.nov., found in ground of artificial reservoir in Vietnam. Th. gigas sp. nov. morphological similar to Th. polychaetophilus Hopper, 1966, but differs from it by longer outer labial setae and cephalic setae, more close to anterior body end located vulva, longer spicules and gubernaculum and another gubernaculum structure.
