Abstract

Zoogeographically interesting records of meadow moth Loxostege (Margaritia) commixtalis (Walker, 1866) within East Palearсtiс are discussed. The moth have been first recorded from Asia, being known from Northern Europe and North America. The species differs from the close L. sticticalis (Linnaeus, 1761) with smaller size, greyish (not brownish) ground color of forewings and presence of two black spots in the discal cell.
