The article presents results of multifactorial experiments on artificially reviving mulberry of domestic silkworm breed Kavkaz-2 with high-voltage current, purpose of which was to determine optimal parameters of effect of electric voltage on the eggs of the silkworm to interrupt diapause and the subsequent development of a method for artificially reviving the mulberry. As a result of conducted research, optimal parameters for removing diapause were determined: electrical voltage with a negative charge of 10 kV; exposure time of 3-4 minutes; age of processed eggs is 2, 11, 24 hours; storage mode of oven before processing at low temperatures is 22...23 °C. The mode of processing mold with high-voltage current, using presented parameters, helps to interrupt natural diapause and friendly release of caterpillars from eggs (recovery 94.8-97.4 %), does not adversely affect subsequent stages of development of silkworm, which is confirmed by results of conducted uprooting: duration of uprooting period is 31 days, viability is 95.9-96.8 %, cocoon yield – 3,978-4,083 kg.
