Репертуар позывок волчков р. Ixobrychus на Дальнем Востоке России

Акустический репертуар волчков р. Ixobrychus изучен недостаточно, а описания позывок, за редким исключением, даны лишь словесно. Нами записано и проанализировано 438 сонограмм позывок волчков — амурского, китайского, малого и гибридов. В отличие от рекламирующей позывки большинство типов позывок у этих видов оказались сходными по звучанию, структуре и частотно-временным параметрам. Наиболее видоспецифичными являются брачный крик, тревожные позывки самок («кавканье» и «кукареканье»), крик бедствия самцов и «гудок» птенцов.
