Species composition and distribution of gray voles in Transbaikalia and the Russian Far East

Based on the original and published data, the species composition of gray voles in Transbaikalia in the Far East of Russia is described. For this territory, it is possible to reliably consider the habitat of 13 native and one invasive species of gray voles. The information provided is primarily based on genetic methods, which provide more reliable data. Data are given on chromosomal variability and on the characteristics of the distribution of species. Sites of not only sympartric but also symbiotopic habitats of species were found.
