POLYOMMATUS PERSICUS (BIENERT, 1870), THE OLDEST AVAILABLE NAME FOR THE SPECIES PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS P. ICADIUS (GROUM-GRSHIMAÏLO, 1890) (LEPIDOPTERA, LYCAENIDAE)

It is shown that the oldest available name for the taxon previously known as Polyommatus icadius (Groum-Grshimailo, 1890) is Polyommatus persicus (Bienert, 1870). The photograph of P. persicus is given. The geographic distribution of this species: Forder, Middle Asia and Asia Minor, Caucasus and Transcaucasus. The subspecies of P. icadius are moved to P. persicus.
