Abstract

Microvalgus (Paediovalgus) iners sp. n. collected in the southern parts of central Vietnam (Dalat Mts.) at altitudes of 750-800 m is described. It differs from other species of the genus in strongly asymmetric parameres in males (see figs. 2, 3) and in larger size of females (3.5-4.8 mm). These characters separate the new species from any other species having the phallobase with long spine-like anterior processes.
