Abstract

Nesting of little grebe (Tachybaptus ruficollis), red-necked grebe (Podiceps grisegena) and reed bunting (Schoeniclus schoeniclus) in Khinganskii Nature Reserve was proved for the first time. Recent records of display songs of pygmy owl (Glaucidium passerinum) and Siberian thrush (Zoothera sibirica) are listed and current status of hazel grouse (Tetrastes bonasia), Baillon’s crake (Porzana pusilla), Chinese yellow wagtail (Motacilla (tschutschensis) macronyx), and Radde’s warbler (Phylloscopus schwarzi) in the Reserve environs are discussed.
