Illustrated descriptions of two new species of the family Sphaerolaimidae: Sphaerolaimus rivalis sp. nov., Parasphaerolaimus brevisetosus sp. nov., found in mangroves of the Red River Delta in Vietnam is given. Sphaerolaimus paradoxus (Ditlevse, 1918) var. crassus Timm, 1961 is ranked as valid species under the name Parasphaerolaimus crassus (Timm, 1961) nom. nov.
