The data on the first findings of the oriental cuckoo eggs within the territory of Yakutia are presented. Common rosefinch (Carpodacus erythrinus Pallas, 1770) is detected as a host for the oriental cuckoo; the development of chics in the nest of dusky warbler (Phylloscopus fuscatus Blyth 1842) was documented.
