TO THE FAUNA OF MOTHS (MACROLEPIDOPTERA) OF THE NORTH OF VALDAI HILLS

452 species of moths and butterflies from 21 families are recorded for the northern part of Valdai Hills. Among them, 3 species are new for the fauna of the north-western part of Russia: Blood droplet burnet Zygaena minos ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775), Triple-spotted clay Xestia ditrapezium ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775), Four-spotted footman Lithosia quadra (Linnaeus, 1758). 144 species of Macrolepidoptera are new for the fauna of Valdai Hills.
