Adoretosoma atritarse dalatmontis ssp. n. is described from Dalat Highlands of Central Vietnam, basing on the structure of the male parameres. Together with A. chinense atritarse (Fairm.) and A. c. erubescens Machatschke it belongs to A. atritarse stat. nov. separated herein from A. chinense (Redt.). The newly described subspecies is more similar to the Assamese-Tibetan subspecies A. a. erubescens than to the geographically closer Chinese-Vietnamese A. a. atritarse.
