VARIATION OF ELYTRA COLOR PATTERN IN THE MARVELLOUS LADYBIRD – AILOCARIA HEXASPILOTA (HOPE, 1831) IN PRIMORSKII KRAI

Abstract

The first data on the frequency of melanic form of Ailocaria hexaspilota (Hope, 1831) in Primorskii Krai of Russia is given. Collected series reveal that the melanism of this species has a uniform level of 8-15% of melanic beetles and reaches 20% rarely.
