Lectotype of Thecla frivaldszkyi Lederer, 1855 (deposited in the Museum fur Naturkunde, Berlin, Germany) is designated. New synonymies are established: Ahlbergia frivaldszkyi leei Johnson, 1992 (= arquata Johnson, 1992, syn. n.; = aleucopuncta Johnson, 1992, syn. n.). The type localities of Ahlbergia frivaldszkyi leei Johnson, 1992, A. aleucopuncta Johnson, 1992 are corrected.
