Приводится иллюстрированное описание нового для науки вида нематод Metalinhomoeus tenuis sp. nov., обнаруженного на коралловых рифах в прибрежной зоне Вьетнама. Новый вид морфологически близок к M. biratus Vitiello, 1969 и M. insularis Timm, 1967, но фаринкс относительно более короткий, головные щетинки более короткие и фовея амфидов расположена дальше от переднего конца тела.
